What Stands Behind Every Absolute Decks & Basements Build

Every project is covered by a two-layer warranty structure: a decade-long labor warranty for the installation itself and manufacturer warranties for the selected materials. Both layers are in writing and backed by the team that built the project.

Absolute Decks & Basements Craftsmanship Warranty

10-Year Labor and Installation Warranty

Most deck contractors in Central Jersey offer a 1-year labor warranty. Absolute Decks & Basements Contracting backs every project with a 10-year warranty.

That number is not a marketing figure; it reflects the installation standard to which every build is held, from the first board to the final walkthrough.

Maintenance Guidance

Most composite warranties require basic upkeep to remain valid. At the final walkthrough, Rob or Dylan reviews the maintenance expectations for every material on the project. General guidelines:

  • Composite Decking: Mild soap and water. High-pressure washing can damage the cap layer and affect manufacturer coverage; avoid it.
  • Trex Railing & PVC Railing: Periodic cleaning with soap and water. Abrasive cleaners and solvents can degrade the surface finish over time.
  • Under-Deck Drainage Systems: Clear debris from drainage channels seasonally. Inspect attachment points annually, particularly after winter.
  • Basement Moisture Barriers: Monitor for signs of water infiltration after extended heavy rain or snowmelt. Early detection keeps small issues from becoming large ones.
